The journal operates a double-blind peer-review system. Reviewers play a central role in maintaining the scientific quality and integrity of the journal.
The Review Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening, similarity and plagiarism screening, assignment to an Associate Editor, independent peer review by at least two reviewers, editorial decision-making, a revision process, and final acceptance and publication.
Conducting a Review
- Evaluate originality, methodological rigour, validity of results, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Provide constructive, objective, and confidential feedback to support the authors’ improvement of the manuscript.
- Identify any ethical concerns, including potential plagiarism, data integrity issues, or undisclosed conflicts of interest.
- Declare any conflict of interest and decline the review where impartiality cannot be guaranteed.
Recommendations
Reviewers may recommend one of the following: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject, or Reject and Resubmit. The journal aims to provide an initial editorial decision within approximately 4–8 weeks of submission.
Confidentiality
Manuscripts under review are confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or use any part of a manuscript prior to publication.
